Survivors include: Mother – Patricia Tijerina, Stepfather – Thomas Tijerina, Adopted Father –
Wiliam Newberry. Sister – Julie Kinzie, Nephews – Elliott Kinzie and Owen Kinzie and dear friend
and companion – Nicholas Petrillo.
Wesley was a gentile spirit and although he had learning disabilities, he was a blessing to all
who knew him. My red headed Huckelberry Finn loved cars, especially Dodge trucks and would
point them out whenever out driving around. Music and TV were a constant. He would sit and
watch TV for hours. Wesley had a special touch from God. Wesley’s eyes would light up when
talking about Jesus and didn’t hesitate to say Amen when he liked what the preacher was
saying. Sometimes out of the blue he would say something that would be a blessing.
We will miss our Wesley but I’m sure he is at peace in Heaven shining like a star and fully
healed; walking and talking with our Savior and our relatives that have gone on before.
