Scott A. Dreier, 73, of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, of natural causes.

Scott was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Richard Dreier and Sue Kays. On December 27, 1978, he married the love of his life, Denise Nicholas, in Fort Myers, Florida. Together they built a life and were married for 45 years until Denise’s passing.

Scott spent many dedicated years working as a paint maker at Flex Bond Paints. Outside of work, Scott had a deep passion for rock and roll music and loved playing the electric guitar. Over the years he built an impressive collection of guitars and could often be found enjoying the music that inspired him. His favorite bands included Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, and Pink Floyd, among many others.

One of Scott’s proudest achievements was his service as a U.S. Navy sailor during the Vietnam War. During a difficult and divisive time in American history, Scott made the courageous decision to serve his country. His dedication reflected the strength of his character.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Tammi M. Kirnes (Bruce); grandchildren Jovon White, Jasmine Samples, Kendall Love, and Jamy Granger (Christopher); great-grandchild Kailyr Beatty; his sisters Barbara, Cladia, and Tracy; and his brother Matt.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Denise Dreier, his parents Richard Dreier and Sue Kays, and his granddaughter Jadacia Love.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Best Care Cremation for making this difficult process smooth and for their respectful care. They would also like to express their gratitude to Suncoast Hospice at Mid-Pinellas for the kindness, compassion, and dignity they showed Scott. They cared for him in the same way his family would have themselves.

Scott’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
