Frederick “Mick” James Nodine Jr. passed away, following an extended illness, on February 19, 2024. He was 65. Mick was born on November 8, 1958 in Norwalk, CT to parents Frederick Nodine Sr. and Gertrude Jensen.

Mick was a plant operator at Sexton Elementary and a plumber at Scott’s Plumbing and Jackson Plumbing. Pottery, Fishing, and cooking were some of his hobbies.

Mick would say his greatest achievement in life was becoming a father. He enjoyed being a Girl Scout Dad and doing anything involving his daughter Zephyr. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, wit, and humility, but most of all his devotion to his family and friends.

He is survived by, his beloved partner and wife of 28 years, Shelley Tindell-Nodine; daughter, Breanna “Zephyr” Nodine; sister, Michelle Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.

Mick is preceded in death by two sisters, Gail Bendtzen and Billie Nodine; and nephew, Frederick Bendtzen.

A Celebration of Life will take place on March 8, 2024, 3:30 PM at Philippe Park, Shelter 7, 2525 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor, FL 34695.
