Christine Fisher, 74, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on August 12, 2026.

Christine was born on September 11, 1951, in Abington, Pennsylvania. She dedicated much of her professional life to nursing, a career that reflected her caring nature and commitment to helping others. She continued working as a nurse until her retirement.

Outside of her career, Christine enjoyed a variety of creative pursuits, including a love of art history, hands on drawing and other artistic projects. She also had a lifelong appreciation for reading and enjoyed spending time immersed in a good book.

After moving to Florida, she made her home in St. Petersburg, where she enjoyed her apartment and the community she became part of.
Family remained an important part of Christine’s life. She was particularly proud of her granddaughters, Madeline Margaret and Olivia Edith, and enjoyed her role as their grandmother.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Tara Hunt, and son-in-law, Mark Hunt; her granddaughters, Madeline Margaret and Olivia Edith; her sisters, Karen Drummond, whose late husband was Doug Drummond, and Emily Gilmore; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Christine will be remembered for her creativity, independence, strength of character, and individuality. She will be greatly missed and always loved by her family and friends. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
