The Reverend Doctor Carl Roberts Crawford went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on July 12, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. He was 71 years old. He loved Weather (Storm Chasing) and building models (especially World War I and II airplanes).

In 2017, he transferred to the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians.

In 2000, he joined the staff of Global Mission Fellowship, later called E-3 Partners Ministry. He led teams to do evangelism and plant churches in Israel, Egypt, Burma, India, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru, and Trinidad.

In 2020, he was honorably retired.

He is survived by his wife of 48 ½ years, Donna Stixrud. They have 2 sons: David (Kortney) of Locust Grove, Georgia; Stephen (Candace and Granddaughter Faith) of Pinellas Park, Florida. He is also survived by his sister, Gwenyth Crawford Dixon (Curt).
