Gabriela Mercedes Pezzuti (San Juan), born September 25, 1949, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. She fought every single day with a strength that inspired everyone around her.

Born in Havana, Gabby’s family migrated to the United States in 1956. Gabby was always the life of the party — funny, warm, and endlessly easy to talk with. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply her presence, she made every gathering brighter. She loved a good time, and people naturally gravitated toward her.

Gabby was an amazing mother and grandmother. She loved her family fiercely and faced every challenge in life with incredible strength, resilience, and determination. Her unwavering love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.

Gabby leaves behind her children: Joseph Pezzuti, John Pezzuti, Frank Pezzuti, and her daughter Nina Womack, along with her son-in-law Kyle Womack. She was a proud grandmother to Catherine, Joey, Jacie, and Anthony. Along with Jack, Hank, and Beau Womack, who brought her immense joy. She was also blessed to have great-granddaughters Audrianna and Gianna.

Gabby’s strength, love, and unforgettable personality will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
