Eddie Thomas Gray Jr., age 59, of Largo, Florida, passed away on March 2, 2026.

Eddie was born in Elgin, Illinois, to Eddie Gray Sr. and Patricia Gray Jones. On August 3, 2002, Eddie married the love of his life, Lisa Blake, in Osceola, Wisconsin. Together they shared 23 wonderful years of marriage.

Eddie was a talented welder and fitter who took great pride in his work. Known for being mechanically inclined and dependable, he had a natural ability to fix just about anything. He was also a man of Christian faith.

Outside of work, Eddie enjoyed fishing, riding e-bikes, playing guitar, reading, and listening to music. Traveling with his wife was one of his favorite pastimes, and he never passed up a chance to enjoy a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Above all else, Eddie was deeply proud of his family and treasured the time he spent with them.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Gray; his daughter, Amber Ricchio (Joe); his father, Eddie Gray Sr. (Candy); his brother, Daniel Gray (Debra); his sister, Jodi Clewis; and his grandson, Joey Ricchio III. He is also survived by his nieces, Hanah Clewis and Brittany Nogavich; his nephews, Gavin Clewis, Daniel Jones, Elijah Gray, and Maranda Gray; along with many other extended family members and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Gray Jones, and his grandparents, Emma and Sam Gray, and Carl and Mary Jones.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Northside Hospital, especially his nurse, Costa.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA at https://spcatampabay.org/wish-list/.
